So awhile ago i came across a song I found kind of catchy and when I went to look it up I could not find it anywhere. I looked all over the internet and decided it was a lost cause. Today the song was playing on the radio and I heard it, but once again the name was not anounced. This time though, when I looked online I managed to find it after an hour + of browsing google typing in all the "Lyrics" I could remember. I finally found it and it is no wonder I had trouble since the name is pretty generic. It is a pretty good R and B song and actually tells what I would consider a worth while story. Anyway here is "She's gone" by Yuns.

You dedicated HOW much time to find this? I can understand if it's a song from your childhood that's stuck in your subconscious and won't go away until you please it or something (like when I spent an hour trying to find In the Waiting Line by Zero 7), but an RnB song?

Hmmm I don't know, I guess not everyone will like it. Normally I don't like R n B, but this one just kind of stuck out. Typically ninety percent of what I listen to is much faster techno, metal or hard rock. (Excluding screamo of course, bleh....)

I've always said your taste in music was questionable.

"What do you got against screamo? =.=" Actually I don't have anything against it, unless it is bad. I do like some "Screamers," but the problem is that it is difficult to find ones that don't sound over the top or really raspy. Neither of which sound good. I will admit I like a couple such as "Chester" from Linkin Park, the lead vocalist from breaking benjamin and a couple others to name a few, but overall it isn't the lyrical content that drives most of the music I listen too. I usually stick to either my hard 80's rock or power metal and call it good. With a bit of techno and jazz every now and then. "She's gone" is actually just one of the brief "diversions" of what I would generally listen to, and I'm surprised that not one person here seemed to like it, but I suppose to each his own.

Liar, all you ever listen to (well atleast when I'm over) is that medieval rock crap and the screamo jamaican band. You never listen to Breaking Benjamin.

K this is random, but am I the only one who thinks AFI would be an amazing band if every song had the voice they use in Miss Murder? That is their only good song cause he sings normally, while in every other song he's just screaming his ass off.

AFI probably would sound better. Cipherz, like I said I like power metal, which can be but is not exclusive too blind gaurdian, sonata arctica, kamelot, dragonforce and a lot of "Medieval" bands. As for my screamo Reggae I already said I like some screamo..... Besides ifhas screamo, but that there are also a lot of songs without screaming/yelling and you actually took the time to listen to some of their music you would know that it sometimes to be fair it is "Reggae-metal" so it is barely screamo in the traditional sense anyway. Finally I do listen to Breaking Benjamin all the time, but it is almost always in the car, so how would you know?

I liked it, and was surprised by it because I thought it had a good "story." I didn't quite expect it to end like it did, but it still sounded good enough for me to think about for a good majority of an evening.... Kind of reflective overall I guess.
